TREATMENTS

Do I need an initial consult for my first booking?

Yes. All new patients need an initial consultation before any treatment.

This allows our clinicians to assess your skin, review your medical history, understand your concerns and confirm whether treatment is suitable for you.

Your consultation may be booked before, or on the same day as your treatment, depending on your suitability and the appointment type.

Are aesthetic treatments suitable for sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin can often be treated, however suitability depends on your skin type, skin barrier, medical history and the treatment being considered.

During your consultation, your clinician will assess your skin and discuss any sensitivities, allergies, medications or previous reactions before recommending a treatment plan.

In some cases, we may recommend a gentler approach or preparing the skin first before proceeding.

How long do results last?

Results vary between patients and depend on the treatment performed, your skin, lifestyle, metabolism and the treatment plan recommended by your clinician.

Some treatments settle over days to weeks, while others work gradually and may require a course of sessions.

Your clinician will guide you on what to expect and when maintenance appointments may be appropriate.

Can I have treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We do not perform certain regulated aesthetic treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Some skin treatments may also not be suitable during this time, depending on the ingredients, technology, treatment area or clinical risk involved.

How soon should I book my appointment?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you are planning treatment before an event, travel or special occasion.

Some treatments require time to settle, while others may involve a course of sessions or a review appointment.

Booking ahead allows your clinician to plan safely and ensure the timing is suitable for your goals.

What do I need to do before my treatment?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you are planning treatment before an event, travel or special occasion.

Some treatments require time to settle, while others may involve a course of sessions or a review appointment.

Booking ahead allows your clinician to plan safely and ensure the timing is suitable for your goals.

Can I have treatment on the same day as my consultation?

In some cases, yes.

Treatment may be performed on the same day if it is suitable, safe and there is enough time allocated.

Your clinician will first complete an assessment, review your medical history and discuss your goals before confirming whether same-day treatment is appropriate.

AFTERCARE

How much downtime do treatments have?

Downtime varies depending on the treatment performed and how your skin or body responds.

Some treatments have little to no downtime, while others may involve temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, dryness, flaking or sensitivity.

Your clinician will explain what to expect before your treatment.

What do I need to do after my treatment?

Aftercare will depend on the treatment performed.

Your clinician will provide tailored aftercare instructions, which may include avoiding certain activities, products, heat exposure, exercise, alcohol or other facial treatments for a short period of time.

Following your aftercare is an important part of supporting your recovery.

Can I use active skincare before or after treatment?

This depends on the treatment you are having and the products you currently use.

Please let your clinician know if you use active skincare such as retinol, exfoliating acids, prescription skincare or strong resurfacing products.

Your clinician will advise whether any products should be paused before or after treatment.

Can I exercise after my appointment?

This depends on the treatment performed.

Your clinician will provide specific aftercare instructions, which may include avoiding strenuous exercise for a short period after treatment.

Please follow the aftercare provided to you at your appointment.

BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

What happens if I cancel or reschedule within 48 hours?

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours may result in the booking fee being forfeited.

This policy allows us to manage appointment times fairly and offer availability to other patients.

What happens if I am running late?

If you are running late, please contact our team as soon as possible.

Arriving late may reduce the time available for your consultation or treatment. In some cases, your appointment may need to be rescheduled to ensure your clinician has enough time to complete your appointment safely.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Appointments are required.

This allows us to allocate the correct amount of time for your consultation, assessment and treatment.

We recommend booking ahead, especially for late evenings and Saturdays.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

One support person may be allowed to attend your appointment with you, depending on the treatment, room capacity and clinical requirements.

For privacy and safety reasons, your clinician may ask your support person to wait in the reception area if needed.

Children are not permitted in the clinic during appointments.

Do you offer group bookings?

Yes. We may be able to accommodate group bookings depending on availability, the number of patients and the treatments being considered.

Each patient will need to complete their own consultation, medical history and consent forms before treatment.

Suitability is assessed individually, and treatment can only proceed if it is appropriate for that person.

A booking fee is required for each patient to secure their appointment.

For group bookings, we recommend contacting our team directly so we can allocate enough time and ensure the appointments are booked correctly.

What should I do if I need to change my appointment?

Please contact our team as soon as possible if you need to change your appointment.

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling so your booking fee can remain valid on file.
